Weekly events from the Pleasant Hill Library

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Bring your kids into the Library to read to certified therapy dogs. It's not only fun, it helps develop reading skills and fluency. Ages: 5-10.
10:45 AM - 11:30 AM
Stories, songs, bounces and playtime make this storytime perfect for children newborn to 24 months and their caregivers. Ages: 0-2.
10:30 AM - 11:15 AM
Read, play, sing, talk and write together with stories and activities to develop early literacy skills for toddlers and preschoolers. Siblings welcome. Ages: 2–6.
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Join one of our monthly book discussion groups to delve into the details of a good book. This group meets at the LeDuc Historic Estate, 1629 Vermillion Street, Hastings.
10:00 AM - 8:30 PM
Enter your own creation or come to enjoy the display and vote for your favorites. Pick up rules and registration forms in advance at the Pleasant Hill Library.  Winners will be announced on Monday, December 18, before the Bells of the Bluffs Concert

Registration begins 11/30/2017 at 10:00 AM

Decorate a gingerbread house to display during the holiday season. Adult must accompany and assist younger children. Registration required. Ages: 4-12.

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Ring in the holiday season by listening to the Bells of the Bluffs handbell ensemble. Stick around after the performance to learn about and try your hand at bell playing. A Minnesota Mosaic program. 
10:30 AM - 11:15 AM

Hear a funny story about pigs and mix colors and create your own clay piggy to take home. Presented by Abrakadoodle. A Minnesota Legacy program sponsored by Minnesota's Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund. Registration required. Ages: 3-12.
