Interstate 94 in St. Paul closes April 29-May 2

Motorists will encounter delays and a detour on both directions of
Interstate 94 in St. Paul between Highway 280 and Snelling Avenue. The roadway will close
at 8 p.m. Friday, April 29 and is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, May 2.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane between Snelling Avenue and Dale Street. Motorists will not be able to enter westbound I-94 between I-35E and Cretin Avenue. A single lane will be open in the westbound direction between Cretin Avenue and Highway 280.
During the closure, crews will demolish the Prior Avenue bridge deck, which is being rebuilt this summer.
Motorists should follow the posted detours using Highway 280, Highway 36 and I-35E to bypass the closure.
