Specifically, it is given "in recognition of significant individual or organizational achievement, initiative, or support that promotes and supports the ESGR mission and Hastings is a great member of this team. With this award in mind, please remind military members and families to recognize their civilian employer for supporting the military career.. Juggling a military and civilian job, along with family, is not an easy one to say the least.

First, Thanks.
Secondly, in order to promote more comradeship and friendship, I would encourage everyone to be more aware of the services,, support and programs in the Hastings area like you to be become more aware of the services, support and programs thorough the various Veterans Service Organizations.
Myself, as a well "seasoned" veteran realizes with family involved in school, community activities, along with juggling work commitment, today your priorities may be raising a family, attending higher education courses or volunteering throughout the community. I an not looking for you to necessarily be publicly a participant; you may want to take on a more subdued or behind the scenes approach and that is O.K.. In the end we want to ensure your voice is heard and you are getting what you need.
If you're looking to expand your network, get some assistance or give it, YOU can and make a difference! The local VFW or American Legion Posts might be a great place to start. If interested in learning more or becoming a member, as always, contact myself or others that are already affiliated.
