Area networking job clubs offered at local WorkForce Centers

Whether you're trying to find a job, get your foot in the door with a new company or industry, or explore other career options, the connections you make with other people are indispensable. Another term for this is "networking."
Minnesota WorkForce Centers, and many other organizations, offer practical courses in networking and have organized job clubs where members meet regularly to discuss their job searches, share job leads, improve job-seeking skills and offer support and encouragement to one another.
WorkForce Center events are offered free of charge. The Shakopee WorkForce Center will hold its next "networking job club" from 1:30–3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22. Burnsville WorkForce Center networking events are held from 9–11 a.m. Wednesdays, and events at the West St. Paul WorkForce Center are held 9–11 a.m. Thursdays.
For a schedule of upcoming events, visit and search networking and job clubs or call your local WorkForce Center for more information.
The Minnesota WorkForce Centers of Dakota and Scott counties work in collaboration with key partners to make sure that area job seekers find employment and training and area employers find the skilled workers they need.
