Free Adult Computer Classes at Pleasant Hill Library in June
The Pleasant Hill Library will offer a series of free adult computer classes during the month of June.  Each class requires registration.  To register, call the library at 651-438-0200 or visit the library website at 
iPad Basics
Use our iPads to learn about basic controls, settings, web browsing, apps and uses of this popular tablet
Class is scheduled for Thursday, June 04, 2015 from 10:15 AM - 12:15 PM.  Registration opens May 21. 
Interviewing Skills
Learn how to be more confident along with strategies to make you stand out from the crowd. Topics covered include types of interviews, common interview questions and major blunders to avoid. This class is taught by Dakota County Workforce Center staff.  Class is scheduled for Friday, June 05, 2015 from 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM.   Registration opens May 22. 
E-Books on the iPad
Learn how to download OverDrive, 3M and OneClick Digital apps and check out Library e-books for free using an iPad. Bring your library card and PIN number and your Apple ID to download the apps. Bring your own iPad or use one of ours. Prerequisite: iPad Basics and/or equivalent experience.  Class is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Registration opens May 27. 
Facebook 201 for Businesses and Organizations
Learn how to optimize your business Facebook page with this presentation on strategic marketing approaches based on audience and organizational goals, and through advertising and promoted posts. Bring your tablet or laptop if you have one. Presented by Twin Cities Media Alliance and funded by MELSA. Class is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2015 from   6:00 p.m. – 8 p.m.  Registration opens May 28.
