Dakota County Parks plans Earth Day Fun Fest in Lebanon Hills

Dakota County Parks will host an Earth Day Fun Fest from noon–4 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Lebanon Hills Visitor Center, 860 Cliff Road, Eagan.


The event will feature a park-wide litter cleanup, waste sort of collected litter, photo pledge station, Earth Day Storywalk and more. Those who participate in the litter clean-up can also compete in the "What on Earth? Weirdest Item Found" contest.


Tricia and the Toonies will play live music from 1:30–3:30 p.m., and naturalist and green living presentations will be given at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Other activities include "Recycling Twister," yard games and a seed ball station for making seed balls that can be taken home and grown into native wildflowers. Hot concessions will be available for purchase from Sandy's Grill & Italian Ice food truck.
