Dakota County Library Calendar Events for June 10 - 15

Monday, June 10
Teen Advisory Group
Get involved. TAGs recommend books and music, help plan library programs and participate in community events and service projects. Ages: 12-18.

Twitter 101
Learn to use Twitter to connect with friends, colleagues and potential customers with Jay Gabler, associate editor of the Twin Cities Daily Planet. Presented by Twin Cities Media Alliance and funded by MELSA

Tuesday, June 11
Teen Library Day
Drop in for a variety of activities, games, crafts, readings, discussion and more on the second Tuesday of every month. Ages: 10-16.

Wednesday, June 12
Meet Ron Schara & Raven
Meet author and television personality Ron Schara and his dog, Raven. Schara will share stories of the joys of living outdoors through nature watching, fishing, hunting and camping. Tickets are required for this free event and will be available beginning May 1 at the Farmington Library.

Thursday, June 13
Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest
Enter your best chocolate chip cookies. Pick up a registration form at the library. Registration required.

Friday, June 14
Meet and Greet The RAD Zoo (replacement for Dakota Wild Animals program)
Visit the library anytime 10:30 am - 12:30 pm to get up-close and personal with frogs, turtles, lizards, snakes and a small alligator.

Craft Fair
Sign your kids up to sell their handicrafts at the library. All items must be priced at $2 or less. Sellers must register in advance. Event is weather-dependent at some locations. Ages: 4-16.
