Used Book Sale at the Library starts February 15th

The Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library will host their annual Winter Used Book Sale on Friday, February 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, February 16 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Starting at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, all books and material will be half price. The sale will be held in the meeting room of the Pleasant Hill Library, located at 1490 South Frontage Road in Hastings. Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library members are invited to a special pre-sale event on Thursday evening, beginning at 5 o'clock. People may register to become a Friend of the Library at the pre-sale event. Membership fees begin at $10 per year. Many items will be for sale during the event, including gently used books, DVDs, CDs, video and audiocassettes, puzzles and games. Books include hard covers, as well as paperbacks. Items for children, teens and adults will be sold at the Winter Used Book Sale. Proceeds from the sale are used to fund and enhance library services and programs throughout the year.
