A stretch of Highway 50 just east of Hampton has reopened in both directions after a deadly crash involving a pedestrian.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Alonza Raway was crossing the roadway when she was struck by a vehicle around 6:28 a.m. Monday.
Authorities say Raway may have been crossing the highway to get her newspaper.
The roadway was closed down following the crash, and reopened at about 9:30 a.m. The State Patrol is investigating, and additional details have not been released.
