Events at the Pleasant Hill Library

Mixed Nuts and Belly Laughs Abound at the Library
Children of all ages and adults who are young at heart are invited to the Pleasant Hill Library on Thursday, August 11 at 10:30 a.m. for a morning filled with physical comedy, age appropriate humor and uproarious audience participation. Come prepared to laugh until your belly aches. This is a program funded by MELSA. There is no charge for the event, and no registration is required. Due to limited space, free tickets for the event will be distributed, beginning when the library opens at 10a.m. For more information, call the library at 651-438-0200.

Free Adult Computer Class Offered at the Library
Area adults interested in learning more about the basic features of the word processing program called Microsoft Word are invited to a free class on Wednesday, August 17 at 2 p.m. This class will teach students how to create a document using many of the software features. Students will learn to format, set margins, and save documents. Students should have a basic understanding of computers before signing up for this class, as well as be proficient in using a mouse.
