Randolph/Hampton Chicken Barbecue is Aug. 21

On Saturday, Aug. 21, the Randolph/Hampton Fire District will host their 43rd annual Chicken Barbecue and Street Dance on the main street in Randolph.

Serving from 3:00-8:00 p.m. the menu includes chicken, baked beans, rolls, sweet corn, cole slaw, coffee and pop. Dinner cost is $9.50 for adults, and $6 for kids 12 and under.

Dance to the music of "The Big Twang" from 7:00-11:00 p.m.

Concessions, flea market, craft fair, games, food and music will culminate with a drawing at 9:45 p.m. for prizes of donated merchandise from area businesses.

The band listed is incorrect information....The 2010 band for the Randolph bbq street dance is actually...The American Outlaws..

I hope the American Outlaws come back to the City of Randolph Mn in 2012, We will be visiting relatives in the area and had seen The band in the Summer of 2010 for your cities festival.The Lead Guitarist Stevie Vee signed a poster for my son Nate and gave it to him because Nate told him he wanted to play guitar when he grows up, My son Nate has it in his bedroom on his door.The Outlaws had the entire street dancing through out the Night with a wide variety of songs that we all knew, I remember as I was in the crowd...Nice job to the Outlaws!! They rocked..
