Summer Heats Up with Community Ed Camps!

Skyhawks Basketball Camp uses progressive curriculum to show your child the skills needed both on and off the court to be a better athlete. Each day begins with a “skills of the day” and progresses in to drills and games. Open to youth 6-14 years old from 9am-3pm on Mon-Thurs, August 2-5.

The adventure of character dynamics, costuming, basic acting and auditioning will be shared through authentic theatre games and exercises in Beginning Acting for 11-14 year olds on M/T/Th, August 2, 3, and 5th from 12:30-2:30 pm.

Caricature, improve, role-playing and more will be taught in this Intro to Theatre camp for 6-10 year olds from 10am-12pm on M/T/Th, Aug 2, 3, & 5th.

May the Force be with you! If you love Star Wars then this Star Wars Art Camp is for you. Learn to draw, sculpt and paint some of your favorite Star War characters for 5-11 year olds from 12-2pm on M-Th, Aug 2-5th.

Transformers, dinosaurs, masks, painting the galaxy – Boys Rule Art Camp offers a wildly great time exploring art for 6-11 year olds from 9:30-11:30am on M-Th, Aug 2-5th.

In Clay & Canvas work with several types of clay to create a jungle scene, your own Van Gogh, and a Minnesota nature theme on various sizes of canvas boards for 6-12 years old from 9-11am on M/T/Th, August 2, 3 & 5th.

Become a mad scientist chemist as you learn all about the chemistry things that you encounter everyday in your house and school in Crazy Chemworks! For 7-12 year olds on M & T, Aug 2 & 3rd from 9am-12pm.

Hola! Kids will explore the Spanish language and cultures as they visit various Spanish-speaking countries with their passports making crafts and cooking projects in Spanish Adventure Camp II. For kids in entering grades 1-5. Held on M-F, Aug 2-6th from 1-3pm.

How did early filmmakers figure out how to make images move? Learn this and more about cameras, make a krazy kaleidoscope, thaumatrope and cameral obscura to take home in Shutterbugs. Held M & T, Aug 2 & 3rd from 1-4pm for kids in grades 1-5.
