All Hallows Eve at Dakota City Heritage Village

Dakota City Heritage village will be hosting a Halloween experience 1900 style – All HallowsEve on Friday and Saturday, October 21 & 22, 2016 from 1 to 8 pm. The public is invited to attend festival parties in the village homes and country school with games and activities, shiver with delight as ghost stories are read, ride a tractor pulled trolley, join in the Dakota City Dollar Hunt, view an early silent, but spooky film and learn why there's a bell beside the headstone.  Come, join our historic Halloween fun.

Clues for the Dakota City Dollar Hunt will be posted twice daily on the large signboard near the General Store and on Facebook. The first one to find the Dakota City silver dollar will receive a monetary prize and four passes to Christmas in the Village!
Admission is $6 for ages 13 & up, $3 for ages 4 -12.  Children age 3 and under are admitted free.  Warm food and beverages can be purchased at the Drugstore.  The Gift Shop will be open with a selection of candy, gifts and vintage toys.

For more information, visit the village's web site at:  www.dakotacity.org  or call 651-460-8050 x 3.
