The free workshop will be held today, August 18 at Recycle Minnesota

Dakota County wants to partner with educators to improve recycling and organics collection in schools.
 
Teachers, administrators and other school staff are invited to the second annual School Recycling Workshop on Thursday, August 18 to discuss ways to better recycling programs. The panel discussion will cover topics such as disposable and compostable products, food recovery in cafeterias, stadium recycling and ways to use compost.
 
The free workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Recycle Minnesota, Lakeville, 8984 215th St. W, 5504. An optional facility tour is offered from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
