Weigh in on Pilot Knob Road improvements

Residents are invited to provide their input and ask questions about the County State Aid Highway 31/Pilot Knob Road improvement project during a public open house from 4–6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 at the Eagan City Hall, 3830 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan.

The project, conducted by Dakota County and the city of Eagan, will reconstruct Pilot Knob Road from Central Parkway to just south of Yankee Doodle Road. Included in the reconstruction are an additional southbound lane, additional turn lanes, replacement of two traffic signals and revised medians.

The project is expected to increase capacity and reduce delays, increase safety and enhance pedestrian and bicycle facilities. Construction of the project is scheduled to begin in May 2016.

Attendees may review the current layout and provide feedback on the construction plan and schedule. If you are unable to attend, please email comments to Jacob Rezac, project manager, at jacob.rezac@co.dakota.mn.us.
