Dakota County Library seeks applicants for upcoming Local Author Fair

Dakota County Library is looking for local authors, illustrators, publishers and literary agents to be part of its Local Author Fair this winter. The fair is an opportunity for authors and book creators to showcase their work, discuss and sell their books, network with one another and learn more about the writing and publishing business.
 
The fair will be held from 1–4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in the Dakota County Western Service Center atrium, 14955 Galaxie Ave., Apple Valley.
 
Authors and publishers who wish to display and sell their work at the fair must apply to participate. Applications can be found at www.dakotacounty.us/library, search local author fair.
 
To be considered, an application and copy of a published work must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14. Applications may be emailed to tami.richardson@co.dakota.mn.us, or delivered to any Dakota County Library branch. Space is limited. Up to 40 participants will be chosen to represent a variety of genres and intended audiences. Those selected will be notified by Monday, Aug. 31. There is no fee to apply or participate.
