Movies for Kids
Enjoy fun children's books in movie format.  Ages: 2-6.

Tuesday, July 7
Farmington Afternoon Book Group
Held the first Tuesday of each month.  China Dolls by Lisa See will be the focus of July discussion
12:30-1:30 pm

Learn to Juggle
Learn how to juggle scarves, balls and other items and practice to become a pro.  Registration required. Ages 9-16.  Registration required for each child.  please arrive at least 5 minutes early. Late arrivals can lose their registration spot.

Friends of the Farmington Library
Open to all community members who would like to provide extra support for the Farmington Library.

Open Knitting
Join other knitters in a casual focus group.  Learn new stitches, get help with unfinished projects, or just enjoy new friends while you knit.  Other crafters are welcome too.

Plant Health Care Diagnostic Clinic
Bring your gardening questions or samples of weeds, fruits, vegetables, trees, shrubs, turf or insects to one of these diagnostic clinics and let a Dakota County Master Gardener provide identification and recommendations.

"Frozen" inspired Snow Globe
Create a snow globe scene featuring your favorite snowman in this collage and chalk lesson presented by Abrakadoodle. Registration required. Ages: 5–12. Registration required for each child. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early. Late arrivals can lose their registration spot.

Stage Makeup
Work with a professional SteppingStone Theatre artist to learn the secrets of stage makeup including dramatic and special effects makeup and how to make fake blood. Registration required. Teen-Led Book Group
Join members of the Teen Advisory Group for a teen-led discussion of books and reading. This month's selection is The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau. Ages: 12-18.

The On-Time Circus
Meet Ms. Tock — who's in love with seconds, minutes and hours — and be amazed as she and her animals create a silly and daring circus in this traveling puppet wagon show complete with songs, music and a clown.
10:30-11:15 am

Classic Movies
Watch an award-winning, classic movie from each decade, beginning with a 1920's silent film and ending with a 1970's hipster. The third selection will be Orson Welles' Citizen Kane. Popcorn included.

Internet Basics
Gain a basic understanding of the Internet. You'll learn about web browsers and how to navigate one. Locate things on the Internet using a search engine, a website URL address and the toolbar. Prerequisite: Computer Basics class and/or ability to use the mouse. Registration required.
