Dakota County Library will present raptor programs this fall

Join Dakota County Library to learn about some of Minnesota's predatory birds and see raptors, including a bald eagle, from the Raptor Center.

 

During the following raptor programs, kids will learn key characteristics of raptors and discover what differentiates them from other birds. Presenters will discuss the way humans impact the environment and inspire those in attendance with environmental success stories.

 

Minnesota's Raptors

1–2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4

Pleasant Hill Library, 1490 South Frontage Road, Hastings

All ages.

 

STEAM on Saturdays: Minnesota's Raptors

2–3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11

Wescott Library, 1340 Wescott Road, Eagan

Ages 3–12. Sponsored by the Friends of the Wescott Library.

 

Homeschool Science Series: Minnesota's Raptors

2–3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14

Wescott Library, 1340 Wescott Road, Eagan

Ages 5–12. Sponsored by the Friends of the Wescott Library.
