Dakota County Library celebrating Inver Glen remodel with grand reopening Sept. 11

Dakota County Library will celebrate the grand re-opening of one of its branches, Inver Glen Library, 8098 Blaine Ave., Inver Grove Heights, with activities and programs at the remodeled location from 10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11.

 

Guests can enjoy storytime from 10:30–11 a.m., listen to Celtic-flavored jigs and American folk songs with Greenwood Tree from 3–4 p.m., and enjoy refreshments during a reception from 4:30–5:30 p.m., with special remarks made at 5 p.m.

 

While undergoing its remodel, Inver Glen received improvements that include new meeting and conference rooms, a new teen area, a new children's reading area and a new automated book drop. The grand reopening celebration is sponsored by the Friends of the Inver Glen Library.
