Open houses planned for Robert Street Transitway

Information that includes project cost, community benefits and projected ridership will be presented at each open house approximately 30 minutes after start time for the three remaining alternatives. Transit modes and alignments still being evaluated are

·         Arterial bus rapid transit along Robert Street between downtown St. Paul and Mendota Road in West St. Paul

·         Streetcar along Robert Street between downtown St. Paul and Mendota Road in West St. Paul

·         Highway bus rapid transit along Highway 52 from downtown St. Paul to 80th Street in Inver Grove Heights.

Public input is being sought to help identify the locally preferred alternative. Evaluation results, maps and key differences in each of the alternatives will be available for review and project staff will be on hand to discuss the study process and outcomes and to take additional questions and comments to consider as the study moves forward. The open houses will be held at:

The Robert Street Transitway Alternatives Analysis is a joint local and federal planning effort conducted by the Dakota County and Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authorities.
