VFW Youth Essays
Over one-hundred (100) entries were received and I express my thanks to the students who wrote their thoughts and the school administrators that assisted. While there are many quality ones, now comes the difficult task of reading each one and determining who should go unto further competition and recognition. Thanks goes to my comrades for their assistance.
Community Recognition
While I want to thank the entire community for their support it is appropriate to recognize businesses/organizations/members of the community that have gone over and beyond in the support, recognition and serve to our military and veterans with a Beyond The Yellow Ribbon Challenge Coin.  Please send recommendations to me for consideration.
