Free adult computer classes at the library in march

Free Computer Classes at the Library

The Pleasant Hill Library is hosting several free adult computer classes in March.  For a complete listing of all computer classes offered throughout Dakota County Libraries, check out the website or pick up a program guide at the library.

Interviewing Skills
If it's been awhile since you've been to a job interview, attend the "Interviewing Skills" class at the Pleasant Hill Library on Friday, March 8th, at 2pm. An instructor from the Dakota County Workforce Center will cover types of interviews, common interview questions and major blunders to avoid. Your new knowledge will give you the confidence to stand out from the crowd. Attendance is free, but you must register by calling the library at 651-438-0200 or online at www.dakotacounty.us/library.

Cut, Copy, Paste
Learn why computers are way better than typewriters. Come to the Cut, Copy, Paste class on Thursday, March 21st at 10:15am,  where we will teach you how to magically move text from one place to another, saving you time and typing. The class uses the Internet and Microsoft Word, so basic computer skills and knowledge of the internet is required. To register for this free class, please call the Pleasant Hill Library at 651-438-0200 or register online at www.dakotacounty.us/library.
