Write me a story: Teens sharpen writing skills at short story workshop.

Instructor and published author Ethan Rutherford will lead teens in a two-day short story writing workshop  from 10 a.m.—noon, Tuesday, Dec.27, and Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Wescott Library, 1340 Wescott Road,  Eagan. The workshop, open to youth age 12–18, will include writing exercises, group discussion and critique. Teens must attend both workshops. The workshop is free, but registration is required. Rutherford has been a writing instructor at Macalester College and the Loft Literary Center.
