Making a Difference

Justin Hahn and Melissa Bezotte are looking forward to advising the Hastings High School Military Support Group, once again this year.  They are both passionate about supporting both our troops and those HHS students, who have parents and/or relatives in the military.

The HHS Military Support Group is once again supporting the needs of deployed servicemebers by sending items of need, personal letters, cards, and notes of support from the community. It's purpose would be that the community not forget those that will not be coming home yet and are still deployed. Last year, they were able to send 25 Christmas packages overseas to our troops!

They are asking the community to donate items or monetary funds to help support their efforts. If you would like to donate, any amount of money, it would be greatly appreciated.  Additionally, if you have a loved one, who is deployed please pass their address our way so that we can send them a package.

Donations or questions should be directed to Justin Hahn, jhahn@hastings.k12.mn.us, or Melissa Bezotte, mbezotte@hastings.k12.mn.us, at the Hastings High School, 200 General Sieben Drive, Hastings MN 55033.

Reaching Out to Military Families and the Community,

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is a comprehensive program that creates awareness for the purpose of connecting Service members and their families with community support, services and resources, while honoring their sacrifices.
