Dakota-Scott Workforce Centers has 11 scholarships for 9-12th grade

Youth in 9th–12th grade who are interested in exploring a health-related career still have a chance to apply for scholarships for Urban Scrubs camp being held at Augsburg College Aug. 1–5. The Dakota-Scott Workforce Center will accept applications until July 23. Scholarship winners will be notified July 26. Preference is given to low-income applicants.

Camp participants will live on the Augsburg campus and be exposed to numerous career options. It’s an opportunity to investigate healthcare opportunities, participate in hands-on workshops, tour labs and medical facilities, and network with students, faculty and health professionals.
