Pleasant Hill Library Events For The New Year!

Le Duc Book Group Kicks off the New Year with a John Grisham Book
The next meeting of the Le Duc Book Group will be Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 6:30 pm. This meeting will be held at the Pleasant Hill Library rather than the Le Duc Historic Estate. This month’s selection will be Skipping Christmas by John Grisham. Although this is not the author’s usual legal thriller, it is indeed a funny story of a couple of empty nesters who decide to forego the festivities and take a cruise instead. The resulting neighborhood uproar is a satirical look at the craziness of the way we celebrate the holidays. There is no registration for joining the Le Duc Book Group, and new members are always welcome. Books are available for check out at the front desk of the Pleasant Hill Library. For more information, call the library at 651-438-0200.
